Born 1968 in Papua New Guinea
Moved to Australia when he was 4 and grew up in country Victoria.

1990 Bachelor of Arts (Photography) at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology

1991 worked as a travelling portrait photographer for 4 years living in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney while travelling throughout the Eastern states of Australia. He then returned to Melbourne and worked as a freelance assistant to advertising and commercial photographers for three years, before starting his own photography business in 1997.

2006 a collaboration with Phase One (the professional digital camera manufacturer) saw Colin move to digital for his personal work using a custom made camera. This resulted in his first exhibition of Australian landscapes in 2009. 

Commercial work
Colin loves variety.  He photographs people to promote theatrical, dance and musical performance.  Photographing food for upcoming stars of the Gastronomy world, he recently completed the 300 page coffee table book "Origin" the food of Ben Shewry, which involved hiking up volcanoes and Quad biking through the mud of New Zealand as well as beautiful, detailed food photography. 
He enjoys the challenges of intricate studio product photography and for his own enjoyment he travels the world shooting Architectural projects.
